A Legacy Worth Leaving

Imagine the sound of waves crashing underfoot as families, friends, and visitors stroll along a beautifully rebuilt Humiston Beach boardwalk – a legacy of community, connection, and pride.

Today, we have a unique opportunity to restore a cherished piece of Vero Beach’s history, uniting city, county, and community for generations to come. With commitments from the City of Vero Beach and Indian River County, the goal is to raise an additional $400,000 from private donors like you. Leading the charge is local philanthropist Tom Corr, who has pledged $100,000 to rebuild the boardwalk that once graced our shores since the 1930s.

Our vision is clear: Rebuilding the boardwalk would be a legacy to leave our grandchildren – our responsibility to future generations.

But we can’t do it without your support.
